With the launch of its new website, i-mate has unveiled two new mobile phones. The two devices are the JAMA 101 and the JAMA 201.
The JAMA 101 looks to be a successor to the original JAMA announced back in June. Like the JAMA, it is powered by a 300MHz Samsung processor but comes with Windows Mobile 6 Professional. It comes with tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM, a 2.4-inch QVGA touchscreen display, a 2MP camera, Bluetooth and a microSD slot. It does not come with 3G or Wi-Fi connectivity.
The JAMA 201 is somewhat more interesting. Powered by a 300MHz Samsung processor and Windows Mobile 6 Standard, it comes with tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM, a 2.5-inch VGA display, a QWERTY keyboard, a 2MP camera, Bluetooth with A2DP and a microSD slot. Like the JAMA 101, there is no 3G or Wi-Fi.
No availability or pricing information is available for either of these new JAMAs.
