A prototype of the HTC S710 (codename Vox) has appeared on the web. Specs are pretty much as we had expected: 200MHz TI OMAP processor, QWERTY keypad and a numeric pad, a 2.4-inch QVGA screen that will autorotate when the keyboard is slid out, 64MB ROM and 128MB ROM (contrary to earlier rumours), 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 2MP camera, a microSD slot and mini USB. The prototype comes with Windows Mobile 6.0 (codename Crosswbow), suggesting that this will be the OS to ship with the Vox.
Unfortunately, the Vox will not support 3G.
Aside from plenty of pictures, the preview also features first impressions.
Still no word on pricing and availability.
