A Portuguese web site has posted pictures of the HTC Polaris, the expected successor to the HTC P3300 (Artemis). Featured on leaked HTC 2007 roadmaps earlier in the year, there has not been any formal announcement about it from HTC yet.
Earlier rumours suggested that the HTC Polaris will be powered by a Qualcomm processor and Windows Mobile 6 Professional and will come with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA, a 2.8-inch VGA display (another leaked roadmap indicates a 3.5-inch VGA display), 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM, integrated GPS/A-GPS, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, 3MP camera with autofocus, a microSD slot, and an integrated FM tuner. These latest pictures suggest that it will come with the TouchFLO interface and may only be a QVGA display device.
There is still no release date (unless I missed it in the Portuguese text).
