Rumours of the HTC Omni first surfaced last September. It is supposed to be the HTC Universal follow-up. Now, Italian web site Solopalmari has landed some details from an anonymous source. Solopalmari suggests that the HTC may have stopped work on the Omni in favour of some other devices (which is contrary to a recently leaked HTC 2007 roadmap).
In terms of specs, the HTC Omni will be powered by a Samsung 400Mhz processor. It will come with 128MB RAM and 256MB RAM, GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA, a 4-inch screen capable of 800×480 resolution, a second display, a QWERTY keyboard 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0. The form factor is similar to that of the Universal but it should be smaller and lighter.
