Smartphone France has gotten its hands on what appears to be another HTC 2007 roadmap. Last updated in April 2007, it shows most of the devices we saw in the last leaked roadmap (including the Kaiser, the Shift and the Nike coming later this year). But this roadmap also has the HTC Omni, the HTC Universal successor, which we had heard about earlier this year.
The HTC Omni integrates mobile phone capabilities into a UMPC-like device. Supporting GSM, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS and HSDPA, it will be powered by a 400MHz Samsung processor and Windows Mobile 6. It will come with 128MB RAM and 256MB RAM, a 4-inch WVGA screen, a QWERTY keyboard, integrated GPS, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and a microSD slot. It also features an external display that can show information such as the time or about an incoming call while closed.
This roadmap shows that the HTC Omni will be released in October 2007.
