Jason Langridge from Microsoft UK spotted the HTC Kaiser at a device bar on the first day of Microsoft’s MEDC Europe 2007 taking place in Berlin. The HTC Kaiser is expected to be released as the P4550 and replace the HTC TyTN (Hermes). Jason has posted a few pictures to hopefully tide everyone until the official release (there is the matter of a ban on Qualcomm 3G chipsets that could affect a US launch).
In terms of specs, the HTC P4550 is expected to powered by a 384MHz QualComm processor and Windows Mobile 6 Professional. It will come with 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA, a 2.8-inch QVGA screen that tilts when the keyboard is out, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, integrated GPS, both a 3MP camera and VGA camera, and a microSD slot.
Also spotted is a docking station for the HTC Advantage X7500 (Athena) that gives you a couple of USB ports, a VGA connector and a headphone jack.
