The HTC S640 Iris has received FCC approval, paving the way for its arrival in the US. The Iris, a CDMA variant of the Excalibur, first surfaced back in June.
In terms of specs, the Iris will be powered by a 400MHz Qualcomm processor and Windows Mobile 6 Standard. It comes with CDMA850/CDMA1900/1x-EVDO Rev. A connectivity, 64MB ROM and 256MB ROM, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, QWERTY keyboard, 801.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, a 2MP camera, and a microSD slot.
