HTC has officially announced the HTC Touch Cruise (codename Polaris), the third member of the HTC Touch product family (after the HTC Touch and HTC Touch Dual). The HTC Touch Cruise is sleek, stylish, and compact, but big on features and with an LCD screen size that gives you an excellent multimedia experience in a mobile device.
The specifications of the HTC Touch Cruise have been known for a while but they are now confirmed as the following: 400MHz Qualcomm processor, Windows Mobile 6, 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM, 2.8-inch QVGA display, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band HSDPA/UMTS connectivity, integrated GPS, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0, a 3MP camera with auto-focus and front-facing VGA camera, FM radio, and a microSD expansion slot. The HTC Touch Cruise also comes with HTC’s TouchFLO technology which enhances finger touch scrolling and browsing of Web pages, documents, messages and contact lists, controlled by simply sweeping a finger across the screen.
The HTC Touch Cruise will also available in Germany from O2 as the O2 Xda Orbit 2.
The HTC Touch Cruise will be available starting this month. Pricing was not disclosed.
