A bit lost in the wake of the new device announcement from HTC was the release of the GSmart i350 from Giga-Byte Communications in Russia (no word on other countries at this time). This is the first Giga-Byte PDA phone to come with GPS and a VGA screen.
Powered by a 520MHz Marvell processor and Windows Mobile 6 Professional, it comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS connectivity, a 2.6-inch VGA touchscreen display, 64MB RAM and 256MB ROM, integrated GPS (using the SiRFStar III chipset) with Navitel Navigator map navigation software, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, a 2MP camera, and a miniSD card slot.
The GSmart i350 will be offered exclusively by Business Bureau, a distributor of smartphones and PDA phones, until the end of the year but pricing information was not disclosed.
