On the heels of its announcement of the Glofiish X600 and X800 shipments starting, E-TEN is now planning its next move: Bringing its Glofiish-branded devices to China. The decision, announced by E-TEN chairman Hwang Shan-rong, is a result of China changing its licensing controls on the manufacture and sales of handsets. E-TEN will also sell stock tracker devices.
E-TEN will also introduce up to 6 new handsets with either EDGE or 3.5G connectivity in 2008. It will also look at partnering up with mobile carriers in Western Europe to offer 3.5G handsets under either dual-branding or OEM branding.
