At Computex 2007, Compal unveiled a UMPC-like device of its own. The yet unnamed device is powered by a 532MHz Freescale processor and runs Windows CE 5.0 (an interesting choice). It comes with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 4.3-inch WVGA display (one picture suggests that it is a touchscreen), 256MB RAM and 512MB Flash ROM, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, a 1.3MP camera, and a miniSD card slot.
The device should be released by the end of the year.
