Sprint has announced that it will offer the BlackBerry 8130 starting next month (Verizon beat them to the punch though). Sporting a thin, sleek design, this amethyst-colored smartphone supports the broadest range of Sprint Power Vision Services ever offered on a BlackBerry device. Among these you will find Sprint offerings like the Sprint Music Store, Sprint TV (live TV or video-on-demand), OnDemand customized news, sports and more, and Sprint Navigation which delivers voice-guided and on-screen turn-by-turn GPS-enabled driving directions, 3-D moving maps similar to an in-car navigation system or personal navigation device, as well as local search and real-time intelligent traffic alerts and one-click rerouting, anywhere on the Sprint Mobile Broadband Network.
Specs-wise, the Sprint 8130 is the same as the Verizon one: EV-DO connectivity, integrated GPS, A2DP Bluetooth, a 2MP camera, a SureType keyboard, a 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD slot.
Pricing will be announced when it is released.
