AT&T has announced the launch of the Tilt. “The AT&T Tilt is the most comprehensive wireless device on the market today,” said Michael Woodward, vice president, Business Voice/Data & Mobility Products, AT&T. “In addition to its innovative design, there is no device on the market that packs the number of features that are available on the Tilt.”
The Tilt is none other than the HTC TyTN II which is powered by a 400MHz Qualcomm processor and Windows Mobile 6 Professional. It also features a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display that slides and tilts back to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard, 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, integrated GPS, a 3MP camera, and a microSD slot. The Tilt will not have the front-facing VGA camera but supports HSUPA which AT&T is supposed to deploy in the upcoming months.
The AT&T will be available starting tomorrow in at AT&T stores, online at www.wireless.att.com, at select national retailers and through AT&T’s business-to-business sales organizations. It will be available for as low as US$299.99 with a two-year service contract.
