If you have ordered an Apple TV and have watched with dismay all the news about delays, you can now breathe a sigh of relief. The wireless media hub was originally supposed to ship back in February. Whatever issues held the Apple TV back have been resolved and customers have begun to receive shipping confirmations.
The Apple TV will come with Wi-Fi (b/g and n), HDMI, a 40GB hard drive and 720p HD video support. It will synchronize content from a single PC but will allow streaming to up to 5 computers.
The $299 USD ($349 CAD) device was formally announced back at MacWorld 2007 after a preview back in September 2006.
