Starting today, Apple will offer movies from the Lionsgate studio on its iTunes store. This adds some 150 titles to the catalog, including Terminator 2, The Blair Witch Project and Monster’s Ball. “We’re delighted to offer these incredibly popular Lionsgate films on iTunes, and look forward to adding even more films in the future,” said Steve Beeks, president of Lionsgate.
Like other iTunes movies, most of these will be available for $9.99 USD and will be downloaded in near-DVD quality at a resolution of up to 640×480 (depending on aspect ratio).
Rumours of Lionsgate movies showing up on iTunes first surfaced back last summer.
