Chinese Doubao has released the 728 slider phone. The specs are nothing extraordinary (dual band, 2.2-inch QVGA screen, 0.3MP camera, a microSD slot) except for the fact that it can take 2 GSM SIM cards simultaneously. This gives you access to 2 phone numbers on one phone (eg, one for work and one for personal use). If one line is busy, calls to the second line will automatically be diverted to voicemail.
It’s interesting to note that the Doubao shares the same model number as a previously released line of 2 SIM card phones from Yulong Computer Telecommunication Scientific Co.. Does anyone know if the two companies are somehow related?
