A number of mobile devices were introduced this week as part of Computex 2007. Here is a quick introduction to a number of these:
Mio announced the Mio A702, a Windows Mobile 6 Professional device which will feature integrated GPS and a 3.2MP camera. It will be released in the second half of the year.
Asus had its P526 on display. Powered by a 200MHz TI OMAP processor, it will also come with a 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen, 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM, a microSD slot, GPS, Bluetooth 1.2, and a 2MP camera. The phone lacks any 3G connectivity support.
Aside from the two just mentioned, Akihabara News also has pictures of the ASUS Z802 and M530w and the Amoi E78.
Gigabyte introduced the GSmart i350 which features Windows Mobile 6 Professional, a 2.6-inch VGA touchscreen, quad-band GSM, integrated GPS (using the SiRFstar III chipset), 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and a 2MP camera.
Meanwhile, Asustek took the covers off the Eee PC 701 (Eee stands for Easy to learn, easy to work and easy to play), a small notebook with a 7-inch display, an Intel Celeron M processor, 512MB RAM and up to 16GB of flash memory, a built-in 300K pixel video camera, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi and support for both Windows XP or Linux. It will measure 22.5 x 16.5 x 2.1~3.5cm and weigh .9kg (less than 2 pounds).
