The viliv P1 has been around since last summer in Korea. And now it is on its way to North American shores where it will be sold through a dedicated online store. Pricing is expected to be just under $500 USD.
The viliv P1 is a media player that comes with a 30GB hard drive, a 4-inch 16:9 screen capable of 480x272px, a CF slot, a speaker, video and audio out as well as Macromedia Flash player, an FM-tuner, an audio tuner (MP3, WMA and OGG) and a video player that supports DivX, Xvid and MPEG formats 1, 2 and 4.
There might be one slight snag though: The controller might look very familiar to anyone who has used an iPod and Apple may frown a little bit on that uncanny resemblence!
