The Treonauts web site has landed pictures of the upcoming Treo 700wx sales box as well as a spec sheet. The 700wx will come with twice as much memory (64MB of available user storage versus 32MB) as the 700w which has been available only from Verizon since the beginning of the year. The 700wx will run Windows Mobile 5.0 (for Pocket PC is likely) and be powered by a 312MHZ processor. It will support Sprint’s EV-DO network and sport the same 240×240 pixel touchscreen as the 700w.
Exact release dates are still up in the air with some sources reporting that it will be available to business users as early as August 27 and to consumers on September 5 while other sources expect it to go on sale on August 31st.
