So, we might see a Treo 700p after all. Engadget seems to have changed its tune after a Treo hacker by the name of Shadowmite has vouched for the authenticity of Treo 700p pictures that have surfaced. To be carried by Sprint starting in April, the Treo 700p will have a 312MHz processor, EVDO support, a 320×320 display and Bluetooth. From screenshots, it appears that it will be running Palm OS 5.4.9 (an update to Garnet).
Hopefully, it will be tree that Palm is keeping at least a few eggs in its Palm OS basket.
