Bitstream has announced the release of ThunderHawk Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Edition, a web browser alternative to PIE which works by actually rendering the sites you are visiting on their system before sending them to your browser. The new version promises improved integration and functionality when browsing on a Pocket PC with new features like improved performance, new user options like deletion of the your browsing history, zooming capabilities with 640×480, 800×600 and 480×360 support (this is not the same as native support for those resolutions though) and more.
ThunderHawk works on a subscription basis with both monthly subscriptions ($5.95 USD per month) or annual ones ($49.95 USD). A 30 day trial version is available.
