GearDiary has plenty of pictures of the Samsung SPH-P9000 UMPC with built-in keyboard. Reminiscent of a Transformer, the SPH-P9000 unfolds to reveal a 5-inch screen and a full keyboard. Current prototypes run Windows XP. It also comes with a mobile phone and small port replicator that attaches to one side of the keyboard. Hardware details are still tentative but it should come with a 30GB hard drive, 256MB RAM, a 1GHz processor and a 1.3MP camera.
For connectivity, the SPH-P9000 will make use of both Mobile WiMAX and CDMA EV-DO. The whole package should weigh just over one pound.
The SPH-P9000 will launch in Korea in the first half of 2007. It is not expected in North America until 2008. The price is expected to come under $2000 USD.
