If all goes according to plan, we should see an SDIO analog TV tuner card from Eopstech in March. Compatible with both NTSC and PAL, it should run on any Pocket PC running Pocket PC 2002 or higher and with a 4-bit SDIO interface (SDIO NOW!) and will support both portrait and landscape modes.
The unit will come with an external battery pack and audio will only work through stereo headphones. You will not be able to play the audio through your Pocket PC’s sound system. Eopstech will also include a foldable stand to improve the viewing angle as well as a lanyard style high-gain antenna with built-in signal booster. For indoor or poor signal environment situations, Eopstech recommend a RF-IN connection to either a wall or external antenna.
