Following Panasonic, SanDisk has announced its first SD High Capacity (SDHC) flash card. The 4GB card will ship with a bonus MicroMate USB 2.0 SD/SDHC Reader for those devices that do not come with an SDHC-compliant slot.
SDHC is a new specification for SD cards with capacities greater than 2GB. The new cards are expected to reach capacities of up to 32GB.
SanDisk’s SDHC card 4GB is expected to sell for $199.99 USD.
