The first of the devices I mentioned back on December 28th has landed at CES 2006. Samsung has announced (Korean press release) the SCH-i830 smartphone and the folks at Gizmodo got to play with it a little bit. Grabbed some hands-on time with Samsung’s i830 smartphone—and had trouble putting it down.
This quad-band Windows Mobile 2003 SE phone comes with EVDO, 64MB RAM and 128MB of Flash memory. It has a 2.8-inch QVGA touch-sensitive screen and a slide-out keyboard.
Unlike the Palm 700w, it lacks a camera but is a bit thinner. But like the 700w, it will not come with built-in WiFi.
