A report at DigiTimes.com suggests that Quanta will be relying heavily on new smartphone shipments to HP to make its 2006 shipment numbers. Quanta is aiming to ship five million mobile phones this year with some 80 percent, or some 4 million phones, of those supposedly going to HP. That’s quite a few iPAQ rw6800s or do HP and Quanta have something else up their sleeve for the second half of the year?
