O2 has announced an update to its very popular Xda Atom. The Xda Atom Exec will come with a 520MHZ processor and 192MB ROM, up from the 416MHz processor and 128MB ROM of the Atom. It will also come with Windows Mobile 5.0 and the MSFP update and a matte exterior that should help make it more smudge-resistant. Like the original Xda, the Exec will also support tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity and come with a 2MP camera (with flash), FM radio, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
The Xda Atom Exec is expected in July and should sell for just under $500 USD. It will only be released in the Far East, South East Asia and Middle East at least initially.
