Rogers did not have a North American exclusive on the Nokia E62 for very long as Cingular announced its upcoming availability today on their network. The E62 is a QWERTY-keyboard equipped quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE mobile phone that uses the Symbian OS. It comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA screen, up to 80MB of fixed user data memory, a miniSD slot, a five-way joystick, Bluetooth and a miniUSB port. A number of email platforms including Good Mobile Messaging, Cingular Xpress Mail and BlackBerry Connect will be available as well.
The Cingular Nokia E62 will be available starting on September 29, 2006. The E62 will sell for as low as $149.99 USD (depending on which service plan you sign up for).
