PCWORLD.ca took the Telus version of the Motorola Q for a spin. If you’re thinking of getting one, have a look at this review. They find plenty to like and to dislike: The screen is bright and clear but smudges easily and the keyboard will apparently take a little getting used to. Performance also seemed to be an issue when several programs were running.
In a nutshell, the Q is geared more for those looking for a smartphone or the latest in trendy gadgets. If you’re looking for a device that could replace your laptop in a pinch, there are better alternatives.
