AppleInsider is reporting that Apple’s next generation iPod nano could come with an anodized aluminum enclosure, rather than the scratch-prone polycarbonate-coated one that it sports now. Don’t expect too many other changes in the form factor but like the iPod mini that it replaced, the new nanos could come in a variety of colours.
Other iPod nano rumours suggest that the next nanos will come with 8GB and either 6GB or 4GB capacities and could be delayed from an expected September to as late as December due to a change of suppliers for its system-on-a-chip hardware.
