A new study from the Yamagata University School of Medicine in Japan has found that if your body produces high quantities of a mitochondrial enzyme called monoamine oxidase A, you are more likely to be addicted to the latest and greatest.
So now, when you come home with a gadget and your significant other does not seem to pleased, you can blame the fact that you are a neophiliac. Isn’t medicine a beautiful thing?
