The rumoured i-mate JAQ3 has been announced at the GITEX 2006 show in Dubai according to Arne Hess over at the::unwired. As the rumours indicated, the JAQ3 is based on a design for TechFaith Wireless.
Not all the rumour details reported earlier were accurate though. The i-mate JAQ3 will be powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC Phone Edition and will support quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE. It will come with a QWERTY keyboard, a 2.4-inch touch QVGA screen in landscape orientation, 64MR RAM and 128MB ROM, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 2MP camera.
Unfortunately, the i-mate JAQ3 product page is still empty.
