According to Phone Scoop, HTC will start to offer its latest Windows Mobile devices to the US (no word on Canada though). Among the first will be the HTC Foreseer, a DVB-H TV phone that will work with the network being deployed by Modeo. The Foreseer is a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE phone powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 and a Texas Instruments 200MHz OMAP 850 processor. It comes with a landscape 2.2-inch QVGA screen, 128MB ROM and 64MB RAM, Bluetooth 1.2, miniUSB 2.0, a microSD slot and a 1.3MP camera.
The HTC Star Trek (also known as the i-mate Smartflip) will arrive in mid-2006 and will be followed by the Hermes (AKA MDA Vario II) UMTS and HSDPA-ready Windows Mobile Smartphone in the fourth quarter.
Pricing information will be released later.
