We first heard about the HTC Herald back in June. The suggestion was that the Herald would be the successor to the Hermes. Now, Italian website SoloPalmari has landed some pictures of the device.
But better than pictures, Arne from the::unwired was able to get a few more details (some which contradict Solopalmari) to go with the pictures: The Herald will support GSM/GPRS/EDGE only (ie, no UMTS/HSDPA support). But our earlier reports seem to be correct: The device will only 17-18 mm in thickness and will come with a slide-out keyboard, a 200 MHz TI 850 processor, 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM, a 2.8-inch QVGA screen and a 2MP camera.
Some information is still missing: Release date and regions, pricing as well as Wi-Fi information.
