Engadget has landed both pictures and details of a new HP desktop PC unlike most beige boxes out there. The HP IQ770 “Crossfire”s is a touchscreen desktop PC that will run Vista Premium (including the integrated tablet functionality). Running a AMD Turion 64 X2 dual core TL-52 processor, it will feature 2GB SDRAM, a 320GB hard drive, a a GeForce Go 7600 graphics chipset capable of supporting Vista’s Aero Glass interface, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an integrated 1.3MP camera, integrated FM and ATSC HDTV tuners, a DVD±RW / DVD-RAM burner with LightScribe and a Pocket Media Drive bay. It will use a 19-inch touchscreen and will feature a dashboard-like interface that will feature a number of widget-like applications for calendaring, weather, and more.
The IQ770 will be unveiled on the same day as Windows Vista and is expected to sell for between $1799 and $1899 USD.
