The Griffin iTrip FM transmitter for the Apple iPod nano has begun to ship. The nano slides into the redesigned iTrip and connects via the iPod’s dock and headphone connectors. To prevent the nano from falling out, the iTrip uses a patented micro grip technology where microscopic material is used to provide a secure grip without ever losing its holding properties.
Among its features are on-screen tuning, support for US, international and Japanese tuning modes, recall for the last 3 used stations, selectable mono or stereo modes and support to charge and sync the nano while iTrip is connected.
The Griffin iTrip for iPod nano is available for $49.99 USD from Griffin Technologies.
