The Apple stores have reopened with 3 new MacBook Pro models that use the Intel Core 2 Duo processors. The first two models feature 15.4-inch screens and either a 2.16GHz or a 2.33GHz Core 2 Duo processor. The former comes with 1GB RAM and a 128 MBR Radeon X1600 while the latter packs 2GB RAM and a 256MB RAM Radeon X1600 card. Both come with 120GB hard drives and 6x double-layer SuperDrives. The third model comes with a 17-inch display, a 2.33GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB RAM, a 256MB RAM Radeon X1600 card, a 160GB hard drive and an 8x double-layer SuperDrive. All come with FireWire 400 and 800. Apple also offers some customization options like more memory and bigger hard drives.
Prices start at $1999 USD ($2199 CAD) for the 15.4-inch 2.16GHz model, $2499 USD ($2799 CAD) for the 15.4-inch 2.33GHz model and $2799 USD ($3099 CAD) for the 17-inch model.
