HTC revealed another device at the CTIA show that took place in Los Angeles this week. The HTC Libra offers both a numeric keypad as well as a slide-out QWERTY keyboard (with a 3-row layout). Few details were revealed but it will run Windows Mobile 5.0 and will be available as a CDMA device with EV-DO Revision A support in early 2007. A GSM version should follow later in the year. Apparently, the Libra is closer in size to many candy-bar phones than it is to other devices with slide-out keyboards.
It is expected that HTC will distribute the device and that it will be branded by carriers.
