A user who goes by the handle sas90850 over at xda-developers.com has posted instructions on how to get A2DP working on devices updated to the AKU2 firmware. The solution involves installing some new files and modifying your registry. A nicely packaged CAB file was put together by another poster. At least part of the solution stems from a leaked QTek ROM that came with A2DP. The thread (as well as those on many other sites) suggest that the hack works on a number of different devices.
Before you rush off to get this hack, just keep in mind that it is very unlikely that any OEM will support you if you run into any issues. You’ve been warned!
