The Boy Genius has the first real picture of the HTC Vox. To be known as the HTC S710, the Vox is a quad-band Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone with a spring-assisted slide-out keyboard. In terms of specs, the Vox will feature a 200MHz TI OMAP processor, a 2.4-inch QVGA screen that will autorotate when the keyboard is slid out, 64MB ROM and 128MB ROM (contrary to earlier rumours), 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 2MP camera, a microSD slot and mini USB. At 18mm thick, HTC has managed to keep the Vox relatively slim. One detail that is still not clear is whether the Vox will support 3G.
The keyboard layout could take some getting used to though – Have a look at where the space bar is located!
While the hardware picture may be real, someone did a less than stellar Photoshop job on the screen.
