Sprint has begun to offer what it calls the first Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC phone in the U.S. The PCS Vision Smart Device PPC-6700 is Sprint’s version of the HTC Apache. It features an Intel Bulverde 416MHz processor, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM, EV-DO support, 802.11b WiFi, IR and Bluetooth 1.2, a 1.3MP camera, a mini SD slot and a QVGA screen. It measures 4.25 x 2.3 x 1.0-inches and weighs just over 6 ounces.
It is currently on sale from the Sprint site for $479.99 USD.
