Softava has released version 2.0 of PicturePassword. This utility allows you to secure your PDA and uses pictures instead of passwords to unlock your Pocket PC. For example, you could have a picture of your pet and a tap on the nose would unlock your device. If someone gets their hands on your Pocket PC, they only get one try at the picture password before the standard system password is invoked. When locked, Picture Password displays the image as well as the date, time, owner information and battery level.
The biggest enhancement in this new version is full VGA support, allowing you to use custom images up to 480 x 488 pixels.
PicturePassword 2.0 can be purchased directly from Softava for $14.95 USD and includes one year of free updates and support. A trial version is also available.
