PalmOne is planning to release the LifeDrive Mobile Manager on May 18th according to cnet. It is already listed on Amazon with just a few details: An Intel 416MHz XScale processor, portrait and landscape screen orientations and a 320×480 hi-resolution, color display. But missing from the Amazon site is that the LifeDrive will come with a 4GB micro-drive.
Running Garnet rather than PalmSource’s latest operating system, Cobalt, it will also include Bluetooth and 802.11b Wi-Fi. USB will allow you to transfer files to and from your computer. Software expected includes Pocket Tunes for music and Camera Companion for photo transfers.
The LifeDrive is expected to sell for about $499 USD.
