The Anti-Spyware Coalition is a new organization made up of anti-spyware software developers, academics and consumer groups. Their mandate is to build a consensus about definitions and best practices in the debate surrounding spyware and other potentially unwanted technologies.
One of their orders of business has been to define what is spyware. They have just released a draft definition and are now looking for comments from the public and other interested parties. Once the definition of spyware is finalized, it will help the Anti-Spyware Coalition develop strategies and approach to dealing with this very annoying problem.
If spyware has plagued you in the past, this is your chance to voice your opinions and experiences!
