Due to functional issues caused by existing hardware and the new Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system we have decided not to offer the Windows Mobile 5.0 Upgrade for Pocket LOOX 718/720. This decision does also affect the planned Pocket LOOX 750/760 which will be withdrawn from the roadmap. The Loox 750 and 760 were to have been the next generation of Loox 700.
Instead, Fujitsu-Siemens will offer a new PDA, the Loox C550. The Windows Mobile 5.0 C550 will feature a compact design, a VGA screen, 128MB ROM and 64MB RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, IrDA and an SD slot. Availability and pricing have not been announced yet.
