CNET Asia has updated their preview of the O2 XDA Atom with new specification information. Back on September 15 when the pictures emerged, details were practically non-existent. Fortunately, that has changed. The 02 XDA Atom will use a 416MHz Intel processor and come with 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE phone capabilities, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB, a 2MP camera, a builtin FM receiver and QVGA screen.
The operating system will be Windows Mobile 5.0 and it will come with O2 MediaPlus, a media center application that will provide easy access to music, video and photos through a common interface.
Expected in December, it will go for a pretty penny. Expect prices to be around $800 USD.
