Today, HP announced new iPAQs and updated models in the hx2000 family. All come with Windows Mobile 5.0
Very similar to the hugely popular h4150, the iPAQ rx1950 is powered by a Samsung S3C2442 300MHz processor and comes with only 32MB RAM and 64MB ROM, 802.11b WiFi, a 3.5-inch QVGA screen, an SDIO slot and a removable 1100mAh lithium-ion battery. It will sell for $299 USD.
Meanwhile, the hx2000 family got an update. Both the new hx2190 and hx2490 are nearly identical to the hx2110 and hx2410 respectively but will come with 128MB of ROM instead of 64MB. The hx2790 loses some RAM (64MB RAM instead of 128MB on the hx2750) but will come with 192MB ROM (up from 128MB). The hx2000 models start at $349 USD.
