Sharp has unveiled the W-ZERO3 with Windows Mobile 5.0-based Pocket PC Phone Edition and it has plenty of folks drooling. It looks a lot like the HTC Wizard but comes with a 3.7-inch VGA touch screen. It is powered by an Intel XScale 416MHz processor and comes with 128MB ROM and 64MB RAM, 802.11b WiFi, a miniSD slot, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 1.33MP camera.
This is quite a departure for Sharp who have focused on Linux PDAs on so far. I wonder if they are testing the waters in preparation for a bigger push into the Windows Mobile space.
